Guardus G3 is an exceptional data collection tool for the Guardus guard patrol monitoring system. Using the iButton technology, the Guardus G3 can read the unique identification code of each location checkpoints.
The concept behind the implementation is simple, the supervisor simply place each of the guard tour checkpoints at strategic locations along the tour pathway, usually, these will be near key assets that the supervisor want to monitor and protect. During the tour coverage by the guard, the guard personnel will scan the wand on each of the checkpoint as they passes by the checkpoint. At this point, the wand will record the checkpoint unique ID and the time of check-in during the scan. After the whole tour is complete, the information recorded throughout the tour is downloaded to the system for report generation.

The Guardus G3 has a body that is fully constructed out of Aerospace grade Aluminium (Duraluminium T6) and is design to be extremely durable. Because of its toughness, it can withstand impacts as well as resistant to corrosion.
To protect the inner electronic components of the data collector, the inside of the Guardus is filled with a propriety resin design to absorb any shock impacts exerted on the Guardus G3 wand during a high impact drop. In addition, the body construction is design to counter any extreme fluctuations in temperature, enabling it to operate at temperatures from 0 degrees to 70 degrees.
To ensure that you get the best workmanship and performance of the highest quality, each unit at our factory is 100% checked before shipping out. In addition, all of our Guardus G3 wands is covered by a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty. This will ensure that your repair is free of charge if there is any situation of malfunction.

 

2. Smart Notification

The Guardus G3 design is user-centric, with a built-in indicator to notify the guard each time there is a successful iButton reading by the Guardus G3 data collector. If there is an error in the reading, the indicator will also notify the guard to reattempt the read, thereby preventing any missed checkpoint that was not registered in the system.

 

3. Smart Tour Route Planning and Scheduling

The Guardus G3 works seamlessly with the Guardus Guard tour management system to plan out the sequence of the checkpoint to be walked. It also has the ability to switch between different route path when needed to vary the checkpoint sequence walked by the guard. This is advantageous from a security standpoint as it introduces an element of unpredictability to the tour, countering any possible attempts by people that pose a potential security threat from identifying your security tour timing patterns.

 

4. Intelligent Companion for Guard Personnel

Especially for inexperienced guard personnel who are new on the job, the Guardus has the capability to intelligently prompt the guard personnel at each stage of the guard tour duty.

● Where the next checkpoint is
● Whether the Data read is successful or if there is an error
● Verification of the completion of the last recorded tour duty

5. Tamper Proof

To deter any attempts by the guards to beat the patrol monitoring system, sensors are built in to detect any unusual drop impacts.
it can also detect each time the battery is removed and replaced back in the Guard Tour Reader, perhaps in an attempt to switch off the guard tour system.
Note:
– Each Guardus G3 wand can be shared by a team of guards performing different shifts. The guard simply scans their unique identification RFID fog issued before the commencement of the guard tour duty. This eliminates any need to purchase multiple Guardus data collectors, saving you any unnecessary expenditure.
